Congregational Life
Our congregational life at Wingham Protestant Reformed Church centres around the Word of God. The most important part of our life as a church is the preaching of the gospel twice each Lord's Day. But in addition to Sundays we have other opportunities for spiritual growth and fellowship throughout the week.
We have various Bible studies that take place at different times throughout the month:
We also believe that our children must be taught the truths of the Bible as well as the doctrines of the church. Therefore, we have weekly catechism classes for our children throughout the school year. The catechism classes are:

We have various Bible studies that take place at different times throughout the month:
- Our Ladies Bible study meets one morning each month. We are now studying the book "Grace and Assurance" by Rev. Martyn McGeown.
- We have an Adult Bible study that meets bi-weekly on Thursday evenings. This year we are studying the book of Genesis.
- Our Young People's Bible study also meets bi-weekly on Sunday evenings. We are currently studying the book of James.
- We have recently begun a Young Adult Bible study that meets bi-weekly on Thursday evenings on the off-week of Adult Bible Study. We are studying the book "The Fruit of the Spirit" by Rev. Richard Smit.
We also believe that our children must be taught the truths of the Bible as well as the doctrines of the church. Therefore, we have weekly catechism classes for our children throughout the school year. The catechism classes are:
- Grade 1 through grade 3 - Old and New Testament History for Beginners
- Grade 4 and grade 5 - Old and New Testament History for Juniors
- Grade 6 and grade 7 - Old and New Testament History Seniors
- Grade 8 and grade 9 - Heidelberg Catechism
- Grade 10 and grade 11 - Essentials of Reformed Doctrine
- Grade 12 and up - Pre and Post Confession - Currently studying the Belgic Confession.
